Hypercharging at 36 hypermarkets

In total 250 charging stations will be set-up, spread across 36 Casino Group hypermarket sites in France. These sites are located near roads with high-traffic density and are part of large shopping centers. We aim to deploy nearly half of the 250 charging stations at around ten Casino hypermarkets before the end of 2021. Ultra-fast charging will be present al all 36 sites, allowing EV drivers to recharge their EV within 10-30 minutes.

The Casino Hypermarkets offer a wide range of amenities. Grab a drink, small bite or your groceries while recharging.

The first charging locations are already available to EV drivers in France. In total 16 ultra-fast charging stations (150kW+) and 10 fast charging stations (50kW) have been installed at 5 Géant Casino Hypermarket sites so far:

– Toulouse Fenouillet (A62)

– Saint-Etienne (A72)

– Saint-Louis (A35)

– Montpellier (A9)

– Aix en Provence (A8)

We aim to have 9 more locations available by the end of 2021, including 26 ultra-fast charging stations and 20 fast charging stations (50kW). Other locations will follow in 2022.
